Dr. Paloma Almeda Valdés is a distinguished Endocrinologist and Senior Researcher at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán (INCMNSZ), Mexico City, where she has practised since 2009.
She holds a Doctorate in Medical Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), awarded with honours, and completed subspecialty training in Endocrinology at INCMNSZ.
A Level II member of Mexico's National System of Researchers (SNI), her primary research interests span beta-cell function, insulin resistance, and metabolic-associated steatotic liver disease.

Dr. José Luis Torres Grajales is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology based in Medellín, Colombia.
He completed his medical degree at the Universidad de Antioquia, his Internal Medicine training at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), and his Endocrinology subspecialty at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, with an international rotation at the Hospital Sant Creu de Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain.

Dr. Teofilo Jesus Rocca Nacion is a specialist Endocrinologist based in Lima, Peru, with nearly three decades of clinical and academic experience.
He completed his medical degree at the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal and his specialisation in Endocrinology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, with additional training in Paediatric Endocrinology at the Instituto de Salud del Niño.

Dr. Edgar Vicente Mora Brito is a Physician specialising in Internal Medicine and Diabetes based in Puyo, Ecuador, where he serves as a Treating Physician in Internal Medicine at the Hospital General Puyo and as Coordinator of Research and Teaching at the same institution.

Dr. Carla Musso is a leading Endocrinologist and Diabetologist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She graduated in Medicine from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and obtained her specialist certification in Endocrinology from the Argentine Ministry of Public Health, with further specialisation in Diabetes from the Sociedad Argentina de Diabetes.

Dr. Leticia Fuganti Campos is a Brazilian clinical nutritionist and diabetes educator with extensive expertise in diabetes, metabolic health, and clinical nutrition. She holds a PhD in Surgical Clinic from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP).
She is also specialised in Clinical Nutrition through GANEP and in Diabetes Education through UNIP, with additional training at the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliated with Harvard University.
Dr. Campos serves as a member of the Nutrition Committee of the Sociedade Brasileira de Diabetes and has been President of the Nutrition Committee at BRASPEN.
She is also a preceptor for the Endocrinology Residency Program at Mackenzie Evangelical Faculty of Paraná. Her work focuses on prediabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and nutrition therapy.
